Company UNIKOV, spol.s r.o. was founded in 1992.

UNIKOV spol. s r.o. was set up in 1992 in order to do business in the mechanical engineering and lock making industry.
A comparably small firm, carrying out its business in leased production buildings, over several years of dynamic development it has grown into a major and profitable regional company, which now uses its own premises located close to Bzenec. The average number of staff is 450 employees and yearly turnover about 15 millions Euro.

The plant premises include metal workshops providing for light and medium engineering production, a light-production machine shop, material preparation shop, powder painting shop and textile production shop. Almost all the production buildings have been renovated;
the machinery has been substantially modernised over recent years, particularly in terms of CNC machines, gas shielded are welding and surface treatment jobs.
And this all within a premises with a total area of 14 000 m2.
